National Disaster Management Authority

National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) works under the Ministry of Home Affairs to take necessary actions to natural or man-made disasters.
NDMA was established through the Disaster Management Act enacted by the Government of India in December 2005.
Prime Minister is the Chairperson of NDMA.

Following are the Disaster which comes naturally.
1. Earthquakes
2. Floods
3. Landslides
4. Cyclones
5. Tsunamis
6. Urban Floods

Following are the Man-Made Disaster.
1. Nuclear Disaster
2. Chemical Disaster
3. Biological Disaster
