Ban on Diesel Vehicles in Delhi - NGT

NGT (National Green Tribunal) bans the Diesel Vehicles which are older than 10 years in Delhi.
This judgement was given by the NGT Chairman Justice Sawanth Kumar.

ISRO Director Changed
Dr. Mayilsamy Annadura took charge as Director of ISRO satellite centre
Dr Mayilsamy Annadurai has assumed the office of Director, ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC) in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He replaced Dr. S.K. Shivakumar, who had retired on 31 March 2015.

Institute of Physics Price Award

The Prestigeous Award  "Institute of Physics Price"  goes to Pratap Singh.

Pratap Singh from UK has won the Institute of Physics price and he is the origin of India.

Pratap Singh’s experiment
1. Singh in his experiment used two Geiger-Muller tubes to detect cosmic-ray muons. They are the high-energy particles created high above the Earth.
2. Using these tubes, he created a mathematical model for cosmic-ray muons arrival rate with and without time dilation.
3. By statistical analysis and using a Raspberry Pi computer he showed that these cosmic ray munons follow the model predicted by Einstein’s 1905 theory of special relativity.

Dena Bank Joined the Hands of LIC.

Dena Bank Signed an agreement with LIC to provide insurance cover to its savings account holders under PMJBY (Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana)
Insurance Coverage
1. LIC will give a life cover of Rs 2 lakh in case of death of the insured person at a nominal premium of Rs. 330 per annum.
2.Dena Bank currently has 1.2 crore savings accounts and is targeting to extend the life cover benefit to all the customers.
3. Age Group 18 - 50
