NAQI - National Air Quality Index

Who Launch - This was launched by the prime minister of India Narendra Modi on 6th April 2015 for the first time.
Purpose - To assess the quality of air in major urban centres across the country on a real-time basis.
Launched States  - Delhi, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, Faridabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

IPL - Indian Premier League

Rajeev Shukla appointed as the new Chairman of the Indian Premier League (IPL) Governing Council on 6 April 2015. He replace with Ranjib Biswal

Anti-corruption - Help line number 1031

on 5 April 2015Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched  Anti-corruption helpline number.
on 6 April 2015 It receives an overwhelming response of over twelve thousand calls.

SAARC Meeting in New Delhi

India to host 5th meeting of SAARC Health Ministers in New Delhi


Agenda: The meeting will Deliberate on key issues including HIV-AIDS, prevention of non-communicable and communicable diseases and to strengthen collaborations amongst the member nations.

Frame a road map for strengthening collaboration among SAARC countries on a number of issues and challenges faced by them.

Womens Single

American Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan pair has won the 2015 Miami Open Men’s doubles Title by defeating defeated Vasek Pospisil (Canada) and Jack Sock (US).
Women Double
India’s Sania Mirza and Switzerland’s Martina Hingis pair has won 2015 Miami Open Women’s doubles Title by defeating Russian pair of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina.
